April Simpson Darr

A scientist at heart, April received her undergraduate degree in Marine Biology. Her love of the arts and science, and her desire to advocate for the ocean, the vulnerable and less fortunate have merge into a filmmaking career. Founder of BRS Media, LLC, based in Fort Worth, TX, April is using filmmaking to create impact. She and her team plan to release BRS Media’s first limited series in 2026, featuring ocean conservation and human trafficking.
