Brett Joseph Freliche
Brett is a photographer who loves being out in the middle of nowhere, observing our wild earth in its purest form, capturing the forces of nature in a moment of time. Based in Northern California, Brett has a deep respect and admiration for wildlife, whether it be humpback whales in the Pacific Ocean, or Bengal tigers of India.

His passion for nature photography started in college, where he worked in the school’s dark room, developing film. This passion continues to this day, taking him to all corners of our blue planet, from chasing supercell storms in the United States, to Kenya photographing the “Big 5,” to filming beluga whales in Canada’s Hudson Bay.

Brett’s work has been featured in the Nature’s Best Photography International Awards, Memorial Maria Luisa, Montphoto, Greatest Wildlife Photographer – Kenya, Share the View International Photo Contest, North American Nature Photography Association, and was a finalist in Ocean Geographic’s OGPICOTY photo competition 2024.

Outside of photography, Brett enjoys physical fitness, is a Sports Nutrition coach specializing in women’s health, and is a CrossFit Level 2 Trainer.
