Mark Owens
An admitted amateur at life, Mark is constantly questioning everything, including his own beliefs. It all began when, as a child, he got Roger Tory Peterson’s Field Guide to the birds and a Chemistry set complete with test tubes, a Bunsen burner, and enough chemicals to create some panic in the kitchen! (never tell a child to NOT mix bleach and ammonia together) Armed with a genuine and lifelong curiosity, Mark is on an everlasting quest to find the truth and share it with others. When he isn’t doing that, he may be scuba diving in Antarctica, reading, getting his Private Pilot’s license, taking another college course, volunteering as an EMR at a local volunteer Fire Department, volunteering at the National Aquarium in Baltimore, MD, USA or climbing to the top of a volcano in Hawaii.
