Patrick Eugenio Sacco
Patrick is an active member and guardian of the Plum Foundation whose formation was built on rewilding the planet. The Plum Foundation is helping communities and independent organizations around the world to drive action for sustainable development and ecosystems restoration. The next decade will be crucial for our future on Earth as we know it and at The Plum Foundation, we put our efforts to support rewilding projects helping wilderness and ecosystems to recover and thrive again with our focus on restoring forests and restoring and protecting corals and the marine environment. Patrick took part in the ACE 2023 Oceanographic sanctioned mission to the Antarctic. There were 110 like-minded individuals, experts in arts, science, education, engineering, economics, captains of industry and youth ambassadors and advocates who were campaigning for change, looking to protect future generations from the disastrous effects of climate change, charting a new course for the future of our loved ones. We were all on this voyage, working together, to change the catastrophic road we are on, to make sure that this planet is habitable for our descendants so that they can enjoy all the wonders of our home planet for years to come.

On a personal level, Patrick is a loving husband to his wife Casey and the proud father to Tyler, Riley and Luca Sacco. All his sons represent their county at various sports which include cricket, hockey, athletics and swimming. Patrick is a passionate fly fisherman and sports enthusiast and if not on the river can be found on the hockey field. Patrick loves to travel to the far corners of the world, and it is during these travels that his passion for saving the environment was ignited.
