Sally Ann Ranney
Sally Ann Ranney is a leader in climate action and conservation. She is the President and Co-Founder of Global Choices and the Arctic Angels, a global network of young women climate activists. Sally Ann also serves as Chair of the Conservation Committee of The Explorer’s Club, is on the Board of the National Wildlife Federation, and advises numerous organizations including CORE and the Women’s Earth and Climate Action Network.

She co-founded the American Renewable Energy Institute (AREI) and its AREDAY Summit and has worked with three U.S. Presidents on environmental initiatives. Sally Ann’s achievements include pioneering the “Corridors of Life” GIS project, receiving multiple international conservation awards, and being named one of the ‘100 Top Environmentalists in the World You Should Know.’
Her academic background includes a BA in Fine Arts, an MA in Education, and doctoral studies at Yale. Sally Ann is participating in BIGACE 2025, an Arctic expedition, and continues to champion climate justice and biodiversity protection worldwide.
