Field Notes by Benita Tan
We saw the skies turn from grey to blue
The sun shone brightly through the clouds
The bay was protected from the winds
Our kayak rowed smooth like a gentle breeze
The sun shone brightly through the clouds
The bay was protected from the winds
Our kayak rowed smooth like a gentle breeze
We approached the glacier that was white, blue and speckled brown
Bordered by sediment mountains layered brown
We learnt many things from our guide today
Where we were is glacier on maps created not so long ago
If we could ascend those majestic slopes
Each step would be many million moons
